The biennial Global Forest Watch (GFW) Summit is a two-day event bringing together leading innovators and practitioners in forest monitoring. The goal of the Summit is to strengthen a community of practice dedicated to applying cutting-edge monitoring approaches in forest conservation, restoration and management. Summit participants will have opportunities to network, share knowledge and experience, receive training in the latest forest monitoring tools and contribute to the future of the Global Forest Watch partnership.
The Summit is open to GFW partners and other individuals and organizations interested in the development or application of forest monitoring data and tools. Past events have welcomed public and private sector participants from around the world with diverse experience and expertise. Over 250 participants have already registered.
